I’m back from London!
Adam planted some flowers in our patio…
Groceries for the week were purchased.
We broke out the grill for the first time this year!
Dinner was chicken thighs with snap peas from Mario Batali’s Italian Grill cookbook.
OMG, so amazing!! The freshly made bread crumbs flavored with garlic, parsley and anchovies coating super tender chicken thighs… mmm, definitely going on the favorite recipes list. Comfort food fit for summer!

Yay for summer, gardening, grilling and warmth! We’ve had plenty of heat already but it doesn’t quite feel like summer until the pools open and kids are out of school. That all happens this week so it’s official:)
I tend to be a cold-weather person, but since we haven’t had much hot weather around here (unusual), I don’t mind it… here’s to cold drinks and evening strolls!
