Hi bloggies! First I wanted to tell you how wonderful each and one of you is. You left the most thoughtful, supportive comments on my previous post and every single one made me smile. I seriously think I have the best readers! 😀
Yesterday my kitchen got a lot of action, and it wasn’t just the cooking kind. 😉 A few days ago we heard what sounded like rain right outside our kitchen wall (inside the building!) – Adam unplugged some appliances and water spit out of the socket!! It was scary to say the least. He contacted our condo management immediately and they came in to assess the situation yesterday morning. It resulted in a giant hole in our ceiling. 😳
Apparently the upstairs neighbors had a crappily (hehe, I’m making that a word) done bathroom and their tub was leaking all over our kitchen. Yikes! Good thing we’re redoing the kitchen very soon.
Speaking of redoing our kitchen – we met with our kitchen designer one more time last night to go over his proposal and we’re almost done with the design stage!! Here is the color/style of the cabinet door we’re going with and a piece of the counter top stone.
I cannot wait for this to all be in place. It’s going to gorgeous, I’m sure! 😀 (P.S. I am going to do a little video of the condo this weekend before the kitchen and the whole space is in shambles. Look out for it on Sunday!)
All this action in the kitchen was so exciting, I had a hard time falling asleep last night. It’s actually happening. Yay! I also had a great food day and a nice workout. I’m back, guys!
Since I’m running late to work now, here are pics of yesterday’s eats. My workout was abs + spin back-to-back classes and it was just perfect.
Total calories consumed: ~1750 (I tried to keep track in my head all day and went over by mistake because I forgot one of the snacks. That’s why journaling works when trying to lose weight – sometimes we forget what we eat and those little things add up!!)
Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend, right? I am very much looking forward to that.
